Except for the last three images (Iceland layover) and first two (2012) the rest are from a 2018 month long solo trip to the UK: London, Manchester and Macclesfield.

Images 3 and 4 are from Grenada Studios where Joy Division played, along with the Sex Pistols and The Beatles had their first televised appearance.

Being able to step into that studio was a rare cosmic event for me, absolutely spontaneous perfect timing. I was told it had been untouched since the 1970s. As a Joy Division fan, that’s major.

The Epping Walk Bridge is an iconic location for Joy Division fans who know Kevin Cummings photography and I was petting a cat in front of Ian Curtis’ home. Pictures weren’t allowed, but a cat came out of nowhere and the tour guide took a sneaky pic for me. I frickin’ love sticky toffee pudding.

I completely forgot about the note I ordered for Ian Curtis’ grave bouquet. When I picked up the flowers, it was like being punched in the gut.

Major thanks to tourists who helped me take pics so I didn’t have to fully resort to selfies. A lovely, magical trip!
